Senior Executive Costing

We are seeking a vibrant and dynamic individual who pays great attention to detail to be part of our cost accounting team at our main manufacturing hub in Avissawella. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of commitment with a track record for hard work, and the ability to succeed
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the preparation of pre/ post order costing and relevant approvals
- Performing comprehensive variance analysis and determining root-cause for each significant variance
- Preparation of weekly cut to ship reports and providing inputs on improvements
- Defining, establishing and monitoring internal controls over raw material and accessories
- Driving operational excellence together with stakeholders and monitoring the achievement
- Negotiating with suppliers and service providers to ensure on-time payments
- Ensuring timely submission of regular management information to the senior management
- Responsible for Inventory Management & managing the Stock Holding Period
The right candidate will be a young, self-motivated individual and will possess the following:
- Qualified / part qualified in CA/ CIM/ ACCA
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar capacity
- Experience in the apparel industry will be a definite added advantage
- Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
- Team player with high level of integrity
