TEA TRADER

We are seeking an experienced Tea Trader to drive the growth of our tea business across local and international markets. The ideal candidate should bring strong industry knowledge, proven market exposure, and the ability to develop customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and represent the company effectively across local and international trade platforms.
Role Overview
- Drive local and international tea sales, trading, and market development.
- Identify new business opportunities across key markets and build strong local and international customer relationships.
- Coordinate with internal teams on sourcing, quality, documentation, logistics, and shipments.
- Represent the company at local and international exhibitions, trade fairs, and industry events.
- Strengthen market presence, customer expansion, and brand visibility across key tea markets.
Expertise & Skills
- 5-10 years of experience in tea trading, tea sales, or international sales and marketing.
- Proven exposure to international customer engagement and market development.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship-building skills.
- Ability to represent the company professionally at exhibitions and trade events.
- Possess a strong commercial mindset, sound market awareness, and the confidence to engage effectively with customers.
- Knowledge of tea auctions, grades, market trends, pricing movements, buyer requirements, trading terms, and tea characteristics such as taste, aroma, and quality profiles is preferred.
- Prior export sales experience would be an added advantage.
