Executive / Senior Executive – Inbound / Outbound
Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Executive/Senior Executive – Inbound / Outbound Tourism to manage travel arrangements for international and local clients. The role involves handling inquiries, preparing itineraries, coordinating reservations, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring excellent customer service throughout the travel experience.
Key Responsibilities
If Inbound Tourism,
- Handle inquiries from overseas agents, tour operators, and direct travelers.
- Design customized tour itineraries and prepare quotations.
- Coordinate hotel bookings, transportation, guides, excursions, and other travel services.
- Maintain communication with international travel partners and suppliers.
- Ensure smooth operation of tours and resolve customer issues promptly.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and obtain feedback after tours.
If Outbound Tourism,
- Assist clients with international travel arrangements and holiday packages.
- Advise customers on destinations, travel requirements, visas, and travel insurance.
- Prepare travel itineraries, quotations, and booking confirmations.
- Coordinate flight reservations, accommodation, transfers, and tours.
- Maintain relationships with airlines, hotels, DMCs, and other travel partners.
- Handle amendments, cancellations, and special customer requests.
Commonly,
Sales & Business Development
- Follow up on inquiries and convert leads into bookings.
- Promote travel packages and company services to clients and agents.
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue and customer retention.
- Support marketing campaigns, travel fairs, and promotional activities.
Operations & Administration
- Maintain accurate booking records and documentation.
- Ensure timely invoicing and payment follow-up.
- Prepare operational and sales reports as required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Executive Level: 2–3 years of experience in inbound/outbound tourism is a must.
- Senior Executive Level: 3–5+ years of relevant experience is a must.
- Experience with GDS systems, reservation platforms, and travel software is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong destination knowledge and travel industry awareness.
- Ability to prepare attractive itineraries and quotations.
- Good negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
