Job Profile:

  • Manage SME credit portfolio and achieve targets in Advances, NPA reduction, and Interest Income (IIS).
  • Evaluate loan applications and prepare comprehensive credit proposals with required documentation for approval in a timely manner.
  • Ensure loan disbursements are carried out only after completion of security documentation, with proper staging and application of interest rates as per tariff.
  • Administer bank guarantees, including issuance, renewals, cancellations, reversals, and monitoring of expired guarantees, ensuring proper reporting and documentation.
  • Conduct site visits and perform post-disbursement monitoring to identify early warning signals and mitigate risks.
  • Manage Watchlist and NPA portfolios through proactive follow-ups, client visits, and recovery actions.
  • Carry out periodic physical verification of pledged/pawned assets to ensure compliance and asset security.
  • Maintain high standards in credit operations to ensure low audit findings and adherence to internal policies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking and sound decision-making capabilities.
  • Effective negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Candidate Criteria:

  • Full or part qualification in Banking from IBSL.
  • A Diploma in Credit Management from a recognized institution will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 4–5 years of banking experience, with at least 2–3 years in a credit-related role.
  • Strong knowledge of credit processes, risk assessment, and regulatory requirements.
  • Good understanding of market trends, industry conditions, and economic volatility.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking and sound decision-making capabilities.
  • Effective negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
