RESTAURANT HOSTESS

Job Role and Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Escort guests to their tables and ensure they are seated comfortably.
- Provide menus to guests and assist with any inquiries or menu recommendations.
- Take reservations and manage the seating arrangements efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized hostess station.
- Monitor dining areas to ensure a smooth flow of service and address any guest concerns or special requests.
- Collaborate with the serving staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely delivery of food orders.
- Maintain knowledge of daily specials, menu changes, and promotions.
- Uphold a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Qualifications and Competencies Required:
- Minimum 2 years' work experience as a Hostess or in a similar customer service role is required.
- Fluent in English language is a must.
- Must maintain a neat and well-groomed appearance and high personal hygiene standards.
- Friendly and outgoing personality with a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
- Ability to handle stressful situations and resolve conflicts calmly and efficiently.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations is an advantage.
