Work Study Officer

Support productivity enhancement and process optimization in a world-class medical device manufacturing environment.

Eligibility Criteria :

  • Degree/Diploma/Professional Qualification in Work Study, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years' experience in Work Study/Industrial Engineering within a manufacturing environment.
  • Age: below 30 years.
  • Good communication skills with proficiency in Sinhala and English.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills; able to work under pressure.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
  • Knowledge of time studies, line balancing, and productivity improvement techniques.
  • Experience in plastic, medical device, or apparel manufacturing will be an added advantage.
  • Preference will be given to candidates residing near Bandaragama.

Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Conduct work studies, time studies, and process improvement activities.
  • Prepare production layouts, line balancing, and standard operating times.
  • Identify opportunities for productivity improvement and automation.
  • Optimize manpower, machine utilization, and workflow efficiency.
  • Coordinate with relevant teams to support smooth production startup.
  • Monitor shop floor performance and resolve process-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 13485:2016, quality, and safety requirements.
  • Maintain productivity records, reports, and performance data.
  • Support employee training and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
