LEGAL OFFICER
Nawaloka Medicare (Private) Limited, a leading healthcare service provider in Sri Lanka, is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and results-driven professional to join our team as a Legal Officer.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide legal advice and support on corporate, commercial, labor, and healthcare-related matters.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts, agreements, MOUs, and other legal documents.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and healthcare industry requirements.
- Liaise with external legal counsel, regulatory authorities, and government institutions.
- Assist in handling litigation, dispute resolution, and legal risk management.
- Monitor changes in legislation and advise management on legal implications.
- Support policy development and corporate governance initiatives.
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions, reports, and recommendations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Attorney-at-Law of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka.
- LLB Degree from a recognized university. Postgraduate qualifications will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in corporate legal practice or in-house legal functions.
- Sound knowledge of Sri Lankan labor laws, contract law, corporate law, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively.
