JUNIOR FINANCE EXECUTIVE

ABOUT US
Dutch Bay Resort and Spa is a premier beachfront destination in Kalpitiya, offering world-class hospitality and serene luxury. We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Finance Executive to join our growing finance team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in daily financial transactions, including accounts payable/receivable
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Maintain accurate records of invoices, receipts, and payments
- Reconcile bank statements and petty cash
- Prepare basic financial reports under the guidance of the Senior Finance Executive
- Assist in payroll preparation and tax filings
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and Sri Lankan statutory requirements
REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Partly qualified in AAT, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent OR a degree/diploma in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in finance/accounting (internships included). Fresh graduates with strong academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar). Basic knowledge of VAT, NBT, or SSCL will be an advantage
LOCATION
Must reside or be willing to relocate to Kalpitiya, Palaviya, or Puttalam area.
