VACANCY
MONITORING & EVALUATION COORDINATOR
- Contract Type: Full-time
- Contract Period: 6 months (Renewable fixed term contract)
- Duty Station: RAHAMA Vavuniya Field Office with frequent field travel
ABOUT RAHAMA
RAHAMA (Recovery and Humanitarian Action Management Agency) is an organization dedicated to driving social development and humanitarian initiatives, with a strong focus on Northern Sri Lanka.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- M&E System Development: Design, maintain, and improve monitoring tools, templates, and databases for reliable, standardized M&E systems across programs
- Data Collection & Verification: Collect, validate, and verify field data for accurate, complete, and timely reporting
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Generate analytical reports, dashboards, and summaries for evidence-based insights for program decisions
- Capacity Building: Train program and field staff on M&E practices for improved staff skills and data quality
- Compliance & Accountability: Ensure M&E practices align with donor, SDG, and organizational standards for program quality, transparency, and accountability requirements
- Learning & Program Improvement: Document lessons learned, provide recommendations for adaptive management and continuous program improvement
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Minimum 3–5 years experience in M&E, Data management, or program evaluation in NGO or development context
- Knowledge on result-based management and donor reporting requirements
- Experience with data collection, analysis, and visualization tools
- Strong understanding of M&E frameworks and indicators
- Fluency in English and Tamil is an added advantage
