OXO Tech is a fast-growing software services company with a team of 140+ skilled professionals delivering bespoke software development, resource augmentation, and system integration solutions to clients across the USA, Canada, Australia, the UK and UAE.
As part of our expansion strategy, we are diversifying into Tourism, eCommerce and Education verticals. To support this growth, we are looking to onboard 'Intern/ Associate – AI/ML Engineers' to our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop AI/ML and Generative AI applications for real-world business use cases.
- Build agentic AI workflows using LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks.
- Develop LLM-based applications such as chatbots, copilots, intelligent assistants, and automation agents.
- Implement RAG pipelines using embedding models, vector databases, document processing, and semantic retrieval techniques.
- Develop backend APIs and AI services using Python and FastAPI.
- Build, train, evaluate, and optimize machine learning models for classification, prediction, detection, recommendation, and analytics use cases.
- Contribute to AI prototyping system development, including face detection, eye/eyeball tracking, gaze detection, head pose estimation, motion detection, suspicious behavior detection, and cheating-risk scoring.
- Implement AI application monitoring, tracing, debugging, and evaluation using LangSmith or similar tools.
- Containerize and deploy applications using Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud-based container services.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to deliver scalable and reliable AI solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, AI, IT, or a related field.
- Equivalent practical industry experience will also be considered.
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on industry experience in AI/ML, Data Science, Generative AI, or AI application development.
- Candidates without industry experience but with a genuine interest in AI/ML will be considered.
Required Skills
- Python development skills with hands-on experience in AI/ML or Data Science projects.
- Experience with FastAPI or similar Python-based API frameworks.
- Good understanding of machine learning concepts, feature engineering, model training, model evaluation, and performance tuning.
- Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, tool/function calling, structured outputs, and Gen AI application development.
- Knowledge of RAG architecture, embeddings, semantic search, chunking strategies, and vector databases.
- Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar agentic AI frameworks.
- Familiarity with vector databases such as Weaviate, Pinecone, FAISS, ChromaDB, pgvector, Azure AI Search, or MongoDB Atlas Vector Search.
- Basic knowledge of computer vision, image/video processing, face detection, gaze tracking, head pose estimation, and motion detection.
- Experience with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, OpenCV, Mediapipe, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and basic understanding of Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, logging, monitoring, testing, and deployment practices.
Good to Have Skills
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with LangSmith, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, or other observability tools.
- Knowledge of AI safety, guardrails, hallucination reduction, and prompt injection prevention.
- Experience with real-time video analytics or webcam-based AI applications.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Snowflake, MySQL, or Elasticsearch.
