HOTEL VACANCIES (Based in Nuwara Eliya)
Hotel Glendower in Nuwara Eliya under the Jaysons Group of Companies is a 10-bedroom country property with a Chinese themed restaurant and iconic Irish pub. It is located in the heart of Nuwara Eliya bordering the Grand Hotel and overlooking the beautiful Golf Course. Hotel Glendower has developed into one of the most sort after boutique hotels in Nuwara Eliya, winning many awards for our beautiful botanical garden.
RESIDENT MANAGER
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Bachelor's degree or relevant qualification in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in hotel management or operations, with a strong understanding of various hotel departments (front desk, housekeeping, F&B, etc.) specializing in Cost Control with majority service in Sri Lanka.
- Strong leadership abilities to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Understanding of general finance and budgeting, hospitality industry standards, best practices, and technologies (e.g., Property Management Systems).
- Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, service providers, contractors and employees.
- A very good command of written and spoken English with excellent communication skills.
- Computer literacy in MS Office, E-mail and other relevant computer programs.
- Ability to speak foreign languages would be a distinct advantage.
