ABOUT THIS ROLE
As a Quantity Surveyor – Project Sales, you will play a key role in supporting project sales operations through accurate quantity calculations, cost estimations, and project-related documentation. You will work with internal teams to evaluate project requirements, prepare quotations, and ensure commercial accuracy throughout the project lifecycle. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple project-related responsibilities efficiently.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare BOQs and cost estimates based on project drawings and specifications.
- Assist in preparing quotations, project proposals, and commercial documentation.
- Review project requirements and provide accurate material estimations. Coordinate with Project Sales, Technical, and Operations teams to ensure costing accuracy.
- Monitor project variations and update cost estimates where required.
- Maintain project records, cost schedules, and supporting documentation.
- Support tender submissions and project-related commercial evaluations.
- Ensure estimates and documentation comply with company standards and project requirements.
QUALIFICATION
- NVQ Level 4, Diploma, HND, Degree, or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Prior experience in quantity surveying, estimating, or the construction/project sector will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimation processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and quantity surveying software will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
