BRANCH OFFICER INCHARGE

American Premium Water, the pioneer in Sri Lanka’s bottled water industry & a market leader in the FMCG sector in Sri Lanka with a staff strength of over 1200, with an extended reach across Logistics & SCM, Construction, Polymer Packaging sectors within Sri Lanka as well as other Asian markets, is looking for Branch OIC - Anuradhapura for immediate employment. The ideal candidate should be dynamic, highly motivated, and results oriented with exceptional interpersonal skills.

Job Role

  • Responsible for handling branch petty cash operations, including maintaining and monitoring petty cash balances, recording daily transactions accurately, verifying bills and supporting documents, preparing reimbursement reports.
  • Responsible for receipting, invoicing, and managing accounts receivable to ensure accurate recording and timely collection of branch income.
  • Manage overall branch operations including sales coordination, and logistics.
  • Ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels (Primary and Secondary), stock movements, and warehouse activities.
  • Supervise and Handle branch staff including sales, delivery, and administrative teams.
  • Ensure proper documentation and system updates (sales, deliveries, returns, and stock).
  • Coordinate with distributors to ensure smooth operations and resolve issues.
  • Monitor outstanding collections, credit controls and support recovery processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Analyze branch performance and prepare reports for management (Daily, Weekly, Monthly).
  • Implement strategies to improve efficiency of Branch/Vehicles, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
  • Handle customer complaints and ensure high service standards.
  • Punctuality is mandatory; must comply with the specified in-time and out-time.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in FMCG or water distribution.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Good knowledge of inventory and logistics management.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
