Job Description
The AV Technician is responsible for the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of all audiovisuals, sound, lighting and multimedia equipment within the hotel. The role supports guest events, conferences, meetings, weddings and entertainment activities by ensuring all AV systems function efficiently and meet company standards. The ideal candidate should possess a background in Electronics or Electrical Engineering and have hands-on experience with audiovisual systems, sound equipment, lighting controls and preventive maintenance practices. Strong technical skills, attention to detail and the ability to provide timely support to both guests and internal departments are essential to ensure seamless event execution and exceptional guest experiences
Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum 02–03 years of experience in AV operations, preferably in a hotel.
- Knowledge of audio systems, projectors, LED displays, video conferencing systems, lighting controls, and related equipment.
- Good communication skills and a customer-service-oriented approach.
