INVENTORY OFFICER

Join our team and play a vital role in ensuring efficient inventory control, import coordination, and stock management operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and stock data regularly.
  • Conduct routine stock counts and inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Prepare inventory reports and analyze stock movement trends.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain import documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and customs clearance documents.
  • Verify imported quantities against purchase orders and shipping documentation.
  • Update inventory records upon receipt of imported goods.
  • Monitor import-related costs and maintain accurate records for reporting purposes.
  • Ensure compliance with import regulations, company policies, and documentation requirements.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures related to inventory management.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting & Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven knowledge of inventory management systems and inventory control processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

PREFERRED COMPETENCIES

  • Knowledge of customs clearance procedures and international shipping documentation.
  • Experience working with ERP systems.
  • Understanding of supply chain and logistics operations.
