INVENTORY OFFICER
Join our team and play a vital role in ensuring efficient inventory control, import coordination, and stock management operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock data regularly.
- Conduct routine stock counts and inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Prepare inventory reports and analyze stock movement trends.
- Prepare, review, and maintain import documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and customs clearance documents.
- Verify imported quantities against purchase orders and shipping documentation.
- Update inventory records upon receipt of imported goods.
- Monitor import-related costs and maintain accurate records for reporting purposes.
- Ensure compliance with import regulations, company policies, and documentation requirements.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures related to inventory management.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting & Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven knowledge of inventory management systems and inventory control processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
PREFERRED COMPETENCIES
- Knowledge of customs clearance procedures and international shipping documentation.
- Experience working with ERP systems.
- Understanding of supply chain and logistics operations.
