Senior Operations Executive

We are a leading maritime service provider with a global presence in the maritime industry for over 10 years. We are currently looking for Senior Operations Executives to join our team in Colombo 01, Sri Lanka.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting our operations team and ensuring smooth coordination of ship agency services and port formalities. If you are a dynamic and talented individual with a passion for the maritime industry, we invite you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and lead vessel operations, ensuring smooth coordination with port officials and other stakeholders.
- Stay updated on operational procedures and ensure strict adherence to guidelines.
- Respond promptly to principals' and customers' inquiries, ensuring seamless operations.
- Liaise with clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
- Handle operational challenges, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely service delivery.
- Mentor and support junior team members, fostering continuous improvement.
- Be available 24/7 for operational needs or emergencies, including attending vessels at ports as required.
- Assist in acquiring new principals and actively promote company services.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of working experience in a similar capacity.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Email.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle unexpected challenges.
- Degree/Diploma in a relevant field will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work extended hours/night shifts/ weekends if required.
- Ability to work under pressure.
