SAMPLE ROOM EMBROIDERY OPERATOR
Key Responsibilities
- Operate embroidery machines to produce garment samples according to design specifications and quality standards.
- Set up embroidery machines, including thread changes, frame preparation and design loading.
- Interpret embroidery artwork, technical sheets and sample instructions accurately.
- Monitor embroidery processes to ensure stitch quality, color accuracy and production efficiency.
- Identify and resolve minor machine issues and report major technical problems to the supervisor.
- Conduct quality checks on finished samples and make necessary corrections when required.
- Maintain embroidery machines, tools and workstations in clean and good working condition.
- Collaborate closely with the sample room, merchandising and design teams to meet development deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with company quality, safety and operational procedures.
Individual Profile
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating embroidery machines in a garment manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of different embroidery techniques, stitch types and thread applications.
- Ability to read and understand technical specifications and embroidery designs.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Basic troubleshooting skills for embroidery machines.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced sample development environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
