You'll be joining the Primed Pharmacy Ecosystem, a leading organization at the forefront of delivering top-notch pharmaceutical services and digital health solutions. We believe in leveraging technology to enhance access to evidence-based medicines for both patients and healthcare professionals. Our platform supports a wide range of private clinics — including weight management, women's health, men's health, and general medicine — for both face-to-face and online appointments. We provide pharmacy-driven API integrations for online clinics, offering a seamless and enhanced patient experience. To expand our digital health technology team, we are looking for a proactive Full Stack Software Engineer to join us in this mission.
What You'll Do
- Front end — building responsive, accessible interfaces in Next.js and React using shadcn/ui and Tailwind, with clean, reusable component patterns.
- Back end — designing and implementing RESTful APIs, services, queues, and background jobs in Laravel (PHP 8+), backed by well-modelled MySQL schemas.
- Full stack delivery — owning features from data hierarchy and business logic through to UX and edge cases — e.g. multi-mode order builders, approval gating, and state machines.
- AI-assisted development — using AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot and similar) fluently to scaffold, refactor, test, and accelerate delivery — while keeping a critical eye on output quality and security.
- Quality — writing tests, reviewing pull requests, and keeping the codebase clean, documented, and maintainable.
- Collaboration — partnering with the product owner and compliance leads to translate clinical and regulatory requirements into reliable software.
Must-Have Skills
- Strong commercial experience with React and Next.js (App Router, server/client components, data fetching).
- Proficiency with shadcn/ui, Tailwind CSS, and building component-driven UIs.
- Solid Laravel and PHP experience — Eloquent, migrations, queues, events, and API design.
- Comfortable working with relational databases (MySQL) and designing normalised schemas.
- Demonstrated fluency with AI coding assistants as part of a real production workflow ("vibe-coding" done responsibly).
- Good Git hygiene and experience working in a collaborative, review-driven team.
Nice to Have
- Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, or other regulated/compliance-heavy domains.
- Familiarity with TypeScript, Playwright, and modern testing practices.
- Exposure to MCP-based tooling, automation, or design-to-code workflows (e.g. Figma MCP).
- Understanding of cold-chain, fulfilment, or order-management style domains.
