Core Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an SEO & AEO Specialist to join Nexus AML as we continue to grow our brand and strengthen our online presence within the financial services and AML industry.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded SEO & AEO professional who is passionate about driving organic growth, improving website performance, and supporting lead generation through search-led strategies.
The SEO & AEO Specialist will be responsible for developing and delivering SEO & AEO activity across Nexus AML's website, content, and digital channels. Working closely with the marketing team and wider business, this role will help increase visibility, attract the right audience, and ensure our content is optimised to support business growth.
This is expected to be achieved through performance of, but not limited to, the following activities:
- Develop, implement, and manage Nexus AML’s SEO and AEO strategy across website, blog, Press releases and landing pages
- Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities for organic traffic growth and lead generation
- Optimise website content, meta titles, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, and internal linking
- Work with the marketing team to support the creation of SEO & AEO-focused content, including blogs, guides, landing pages, and campaign assets
- Monitor, analyse, and report on SEO & AEO performance, including rankings, traffic, conversions, and key areas for improvement
- Identify and resolve technical SEO issues, including broken links, crawl errors, duplicate content, page speed, and indexing issues
- Collaborate with marketing, content, design, and development teams to improve website visibility and user experience
- Research competitors and industry trends to identify new SEO & AEO opportunities
- Support link-building and outreach activity to improve domain authority and organic performance
- Stay up to date with search engine algorithm updates, SEO & AEO trends, and best practice
- Make data-led recommendations to improve organic search rankings, website traffic, and lead generation
Experience Needed
Essential:
- Previous experience in an SEO-focused role within a commercial environment
- Experience developing and delivering SEO & AEO strategies that support organic traffic growth and lead generation
- Strong knowledge of on-page SEO, technical SEO, keyword research, and content optimisation
- Experience using SEO and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, or similar platforms
- Ability to analyse SEO & AEO performance data and translate insights into clear recommendations
- Experience working with content teams to create search-led website and blog content
- Good understanding of website structure, user experience, and conversion-focused optimisation
- Experience monitoring rankings, website traffic, and search performance against agreed objectives
- Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, development, design, and commercial teams
- Experience using Wix, WordPress, or other CMS platforms
Desirable:
- Experience working within financial services, compliance, or a related B2B sector
- Understanding of paid search and how it supports wider digital marketing activity
- Experience supporting backlink, PR, or digital outreach campaigns
- SEO, digital marketing, or analytics-related qualification

- Keep up to date with SEO & AEO trends, search engine algorithm changes, and best practice
- Make data-led recommendations to improve organic search rankings, website traffic, and lead generation
- Be organized, proactive, and able to work independently while contributing to wider team goals
- Bring a good working knowledge of the core MS Office package, with experience using SEO, analytics, and CMS tools highly desirable
