BIOMEDICAL TECHNICIAN
Access International Pvt. Ltd is a leading provider of healthcare technology solutions and services in the region. We are seeking a responsible and motivated Technician with refrigeration engineering qualifications to help us manage our installation base around Sri Lanka.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting under supervision.
- Support documentation of service activities including service reports, and maintenance records.
- Respond to customer support requests as part of a structured team.
- Follow Access International’s quality and safety protocols.
- Liaise with customers to ensure timely resolution of service issues and promote service contracts.
- Attend product and service training as required and work towards relevant certifications.
- Participate in standby duty roster after sufficient on-the-job training.
- Maintain tools, test equipment, and service inventory responsibly.
The Ideal Candidate
- HND, Diploma, Certificate course as skilled technician with adequate NVO level or equivalent qualification in Refrigeration and air conditioning or in similar refrigeration engineering qualification from a recognized technical training institute.
- Qualification in Electrical/Electronics or Mechatronics from a recognized technical training institute would be an added advantage
- Computer literacy and adequate communication skills are essential.
- Prior experience in a similar field will be considered an added advantage.
- Sound knowledge and troubleshooting skills in cooling systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers.
- A disciplined and adaptable attitude suitable for working in a professional environment.
- Possess valid riding and driving license.
