Junior Interior Designer/ Senior Draftsperson
Position Overview
The Junior Interior Designer / Senior Draftsperson is responsible for producing all design, drafting, and documentation required for the company's construction, manufacturing, and aluminum fit-out projects. This includes concept development, space planning, detailed joinery drawings, aluminum shop drawings, and coordination with the factory and site teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Concept Development: Develop interior design concepts, space planning layouts, visualizations, and design presentations for fit-out projects.
- Drafting & Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed technical drawings, shop drawings, construction details, and project documentation in line with specifications and standards.
- Factory, Site & Project Coordination: Coordinate with fabrication, production, installation, and project teams to ensure accurate execution and timely project delivery.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain drawing records, revisions, and project documentation while ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
Key Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Drafting, or related field.
- 2–5 years' experience in drafting or interior design (fit-out experience preferred).
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
- Experience with SketchUp, Revit, or 3D rendering software is an advantage.
- Knowledge of joinery details, aluminum systems, and construction drawings.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans.
