EXECUTIVE SOUS CHEF

We are on the lookout for a passionate, creative, and experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our exclusive café outlet in the scenic hills of Pattipola. WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Lead and oversee all kitchen operations and food preparation activities
- Ensure every dish is prepared and presented to the highest quality standards
- Manage large-scale food production for busy weekday and weekend operations, including events and catering orders
- Maintain strict hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards at all times
- Supervise, train, and motivate the kitchen team to achieve operational excellence
- Monitor stock levels, manage inventory efficiently, and minimize food wastage
- Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and introducing innovative culinary concepts
- Ensure smooth coordination between kitchen and service teams to deliver an outstanding guest experience
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- A professionally qualified chef from a recognized culinary institute
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality or café industry
- Expertise in pastry, bakery and hot kitchen areas
- Strong experience in events, catering, and high-volume kitchen operations will be a definite advantage
- Sound knowledge of international cuisines, modern cooking techniques, and food presentation
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- A strong leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passionate about food, creativity, teamwork, and delivering excellence
