Technical Manager (ELV – Structured Cabling & CCTV)
We are looking for an experienced and solution-driven Technical Manager to lead our ELV (Structured Cabling & CCTV) operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for requirement gathering, site inspections, solutioning, detailed design and delivering reliable, high-quality ELV solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze client requirements for ELV systems (Structured Cabling & CCTV)
- Conduct site inspections, surveys and assessments
- Provide effective solutioning and system proposals
- Design structured cabling and CCTV systems as per industry standards
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM), BOQ and cost estimates
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for project execution
- Support project implementation, testing and commissioning
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety and industry best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical / Electronic / Telecommunications / IT or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in ELV systems with strong focus on Structured Cabling and CCTV
- Hands-on experience in requirement gathering, design, BOQ/BoM preparation and site inspections
- Good knowledge of networking fundamentals and IP CCTV systems
- Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office
- Strong analytical, communication and coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Preferred Certifications
- BICSI – Technologist (CT)
- BICSI – Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) – Preferred
- PANDUIT – Network Infrastructure Design (PNID)
- Avigilon / Hikvision / Dahua – Certified Professional (optional but preferred)
- CompTIA Network+ or equivalent (added advantage)
- Manufacturer certifications in structured cabling & CCTV (added advantage)
