Compliance Intern
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining and updating compliance-related records, documents, and reports.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Assist in preparing documentation for internal and external audits.
- Conduct routine compliance checks and follow up on corrective actions where required.
- Ensure proper filing and record management in accordance with company standards.
- Support compliance awareness and training initiatives across the organization.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to gather and verify compliance-related information.
- Assist in monitoring adherence to statutory, regulatory, and customer compliance requirements.
- Support workplace health and safety initiatives by monitoring safety requirements and following up on action plans.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely completion and closure of compliance and safety-related actions.
- Assist in preparing compliance and safety-related reports and updates for management review.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Law, Human Resources, Compliance, or a related field.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
- Previous internship or academic exposure to compliance, auditing, or administrative functions will be an added advantage.
