HEAD OF MARKETING

Keells Food Products PLC, a subsidiary of John Keells Holdings PLC (JKH), is the country's market leader in processed meat products and has held this position for over three decades. Our company possesses ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, ISO 22000:2018 Food Safety Management System, ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health & Safety Management System Certifications. The Company manufactures a range of sausages, meatballs, hams, crumbed products and other food products categories & solutions under the Elephant House and Keells Krest brands.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute the overall marketing strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead brand management initiatives across the company's product portfolio.
  • Drive consumer insights, market research, and category development activities.
  • Plan and implement integrated marketing campaigns to strengthen brand equity and market share.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales on trade investments and visibility deliver business growth.
  • Identify new product opportunities and work with R&D, Operations, and Finance teams to deliver successful product launches.
  • Manage marketing budgets and ensure effective return on investment.
  • Lead the Brand Activation arm of the team including the fast-growing branded outlet based across the country.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team.

Job Specification :

  • Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, CIM. A postgraduate qualification or professional marketing qualification will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 10-12 years of experience in marketing, with significant experience in FMCG and at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record in brand building, category management, and business growth.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to perform under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results within the deadlines.
  • Willingness to take on Projects for the Consumer Food Sector at JKH in the future.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team development skills.
  • Experience in food and beverage marketing will be highly advantageous.
