SENIOR EXECUTIVE - TECHNICAL
BASED AT MINUWANGODA
This role requires to manage & support the technical team during the product development process by adhering to the critical path while ensuring customer and manufacturing expectations are met at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely during the product development process in order to ensure accurate assembly of all prototype garments, employment of efficient methods, specifications and machine set- up
- Develop appropriate model in alignment with the customer expectation and direct the team to facilitate the business growth.
- Conduct/ attend relevant technical meetings; by emphasizing product manufacturability, Lead the technical team for monitoring the critical path flow to ensure customer expectations are met at all times.
- Provide comprehensive information to manufacturing units on machinery, attachments, folders etc required for production to enable preparation for bulk production and the tech pack.
- To facilitate smooth production by ensure timely communication of technical knowledge among the stakeholders
- Verify accuracy of patterns against samples whilst, identifying and addressing all technical issues. (As and when required)
- Ensure that customer comments are accurately incorporated at each style to achieve the expected fit requirements.
- Ensure that accurate product related information are shared on time during factory engagement points (EE, Bulk RA , etc) and provide production feasible solutions for manufacturing challenges.
- Liaison with manufacturing units to keep current on engineering progress, seek-out measures for improvements & innovative techniques.
- Ensure that the technical team members are aligned to the lean manufacturing principals practiced as organizational standards.
- Optimize performance of the team through on-going training/development, develop positive employee relations through excellent communication
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in relevant field preferred or Diploma with relevant experience.
- 4-5 years of relevant work experience in a similar capacity
- Negotiation & Influencing Skills
- Communication skills
