DIGITAL CONTENT EXECUTIVE

The Kumara Group is a premier, diversified conglomerate spanning agriculture, international trade, retail and real estate. Kumara Cinnamon Exporters Pvt Ltd, its Ceylon cinnamon export division, is launching a brand-new Digital Department - and we are looking for our first Digital Content Executive to elevate our brands across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and the web.
Key Responsibilities
- Create social media content - posts and graphics using Canva templates - for Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
- Write SEO-focused blog articles to grow the website's reach and search ranking.
- Produce short-form video: filming on iPhone and basic editing.
- Build and maintain a consistent content calendar across all brand channels.
- First three months focus on consistency and output - posts per week, blogs and videos per month.
The Ideal Candidate
- Writes and communicates very comfortably in English, with strong content-writing skills.
- A good understanding of social media marketing, content strategy and consumer personas.
- Comfort with Canva, smartphone video and the major social platforms is a strong plus.
- Above all, the right attitude, character and willingness to learn - we will train the rest.
