A leading UK based manufacturing company looking for recruitment for their office in Sri Lanka.
PURCHASING EXECUTIVE
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, reliability, and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate with warehouse, production, planning, and logistics teams to ensure material availability for export orders.
- Prepare and process purchase orders while ensuring accuracy and approval compliance.
- Follow up with suppliers on delivery schedules and resolve supply-related issues.
- Prepare purchasing reports, cost analysis, and procurement related documentation.
PROFILE / REQUIREMENTS
- Good knowledge of purchasing processes, supplier management, and inventory control.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in an export, FMCG, or manufacturing company.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, or purchasing software.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
