A leading UK based manufacturing company looking for recruitment for their office in Sri Lanka.

PURCHASING EXECUTIVE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, reliability, and delivery timelines.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, production, planning, and logistics teams to ensure material availability for export orders.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders while ensuring accuracy and approval compliance.
  • Follow up with suppliers on delivery schedules and resolve supply-related issues.
  • Prepare purchasing reports, cost analysis, and procurement related documentation.

PROFILE / REQUIREMENTS

  • Good knowledge of purchasing processes, supplier management, and inventory control.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in an export, FMCG, or manufacturing company.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, or purchasing software.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
