Chief Financial Officer
The deal Candidate Profile
- Associate or Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka.
- Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A Master's in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 7 years of experience as a Chief Financial Officer (CFO), preferably 10 years, in a Public Listed Company (PLC) or a reputed/top-tier company.
- A high level of proficiency in both written and spoken English is mandatory.
- Experience in manufacturing environment would be a definite advantage
- Expertise in financial analysis, forecasting, and risk management, and a deep understanding of regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems, with a focus on data-driven financial insights.
- Strategic thinker with proven leadership and decision-making capabilities.
- Clear and persuasive communicator with strong analytical skills.
- Age between 45 –50 years.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the capital budgeting, analyzing investment proposals for strategic fit, returns, and financial feasibility.
- Implement a robust cash and working capital management system, improving liquidity and ensuring sustainable cash flow.
- Shape the long-term financial direction of the holding company and its subsidiaries, aligning financial goals with business growth and adapting to industry changes.
- Guide, advise, and direct the preparation of medium to long-term Group strategic plans and annual budgets.
- Provide actionable insights to executive leadership, ensuring efficient resource allocation and accountability.
