Key Account Manager – SMMT & Modern Trade
Location: Colombo
About the Role
Lead and grow our business within Self-Service Modern Trade (SMMT) and Modern Trade channels. Manage key customer relationships, drive sales growth, execute plans, and ensure excellence in account management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with key SMMT and Modern Trade customers.
- Negotiate agreements and drive sales growth and profitability.
- Implement strategies across all assigned accounts.
- Analyze performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful execution.
- Monitor profitability and manage trade investments.
- Ensure timely collections and compliance with company policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Min. 4–6 years of experience in Key Account Management in FMCG, Consumer Goods, or Retail sectors.
- Proven experience managing SMMT and Modern Trade accounts.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and sales reporting tools.
