We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team as a Production / Warehouse Supervisor.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising daily production and warehouse operations, ensuring operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and compliance with company procedures. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, shift-based manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day production and warehouse operations to achieve production targets and dispatch schedules.
- Monitor production processes and warehouse activities to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure proper inventory control, stock management, and storage practices.
- Maintain accurate production and warehouse records and documentation.
- Coordinate effectively with Stores, Logistics, Procurement, and other departments.
- Lead, train, and motivate production and warehouse staff.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and company procedures.
- Handle shift operations and ensure smooth workflow during assigned shifts.
Requirements:
- Successfully completed G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) examination in the Bio Science stream, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the tea manufacturing/export industry.
- Strong knowledge of tea production processes, warehouse operations, and inventory management.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
- Willingness to work on a shift basis when required.
