Manager - Central Machinery Division

We are looking for :

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and allocate construction machinery and equipment to project sites based on operational requirements.
  • Ensure the timely mobilization and demobilization of machinery.
  • Monitor equipment utilization and optimize resource allocation to maximize productivity.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all machinery and equipment.
  • Oversee breakdown repairs and ensure minimum downtime.
  • Manage the company's fleet of construction equipment, vehicles, and heavy machinery.
  • Monitor fuel consumption, repair costs, spare parts expenses, and equipment operating costs.
  • Coordinate the procurement of machinery, spare parts, tools, and consumables.
  • Ensure effective workforce planning and manpower utilization.
  • Maintain accurate records of machinery deployment, maintenance, fuel consumption, and operating costs.
  • Assess new technologies and equipment to improve operational efficiency.
  • Support project teams by providing technical expertise on equipment-related matters.

Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Plant Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in construction machinery, fleet management, or heavy equipment maintenance.
  • Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within the construction industry.
  • Experience in managing large fleets of heavy machinery and construction equipment.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
  • Understanding of spare parts management and inventory control.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with project managers, site teams, suppliers, and senior management.
  • Knowledge of machinery safety standards and risk management practices.
  • Experience with ERP systems, fleet management software, and maintenance management systems.
