Relationship Manager – Deposit Mobilizations

Location: Colombo 03

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage end-to-end deposit operations across branches to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and service excellence.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to grow and retain the deposit portfolio in line with organizational targets.
  • Ensure all deposit products, processes, and documentation comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Monitor operational risks, identify gaps, and implement controls to mitigate operational and compliance risks.
  • Work closely with branch managers and operational teams to improve turnaround times and customer experience.
  • Review and enhance operational processes, systems, and controls to improve productivity and cost efficiency.
  • Handle escalations, customer complaints, and operational exceptions related to deposit operations.
  • Prepare operational reports, MIS, and performance updates for senior management.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or a professional qualification in Marketing, Accounting, Banking & Finance, or an equivalent discipline from a recognized university or institute.
  • A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in deposit operations within a Bank or Non-Banking Financial Institution.
  • Strong knowledge of deposit products, operational workflows, regulatory guidelines, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • High computer literacy with MS Office applications and core banking systems.
