Trainee - Receptionist / Front Desk
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist visitors, clients, and employees while maintaining a professional and friendly front desk environment
- Answer, screen, and direct phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Manage visitor registration, issue visitor badges, and ensure compliance with office security procedures.
- Coordinate administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, managing mail and deliveries, and maintaining office supplies.
- Provide administrative and customer service support by handling inquiries, preparing documents, and assisting various departments as required.
Key Requirements
- G.C.E. Advanced Level completed; relevant certification in administration or customer service will be an added advantage.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Sinhala (Tamil will be an added advantage).
- Basic knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and email correspondence.
- Pleasant personality with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with visitors and employees.
- Ability to manage front desk operations, handle phone calls, maintain records, and perform administrative tasks efficiently.
