Technician
The Goethe-Institut Sri Lanka is soliciting applications for the position Technician on full-time basis.
Duties include:
- Operating and maintaining technical equipment
- Operating and maintaining digital equipment
- Inspecting, analyzing, and troubleshooting systems and IT equipment
- Preparing technical setups for events and its implementation during events (cultural and educational programs, classrooms, workshops and conferences)
- Other assistance with event-related tasks
Requirements:
- Experience as a technician
- Basic IT skills
- Knowledge of spoken and written English & Sinhala is essential
- Willingness to work on weekends and evenings
Applicants should
- be reliable, trustworthy and able to work self-dependent
- have relevant experience in similar positions
- be able to maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
Start of employment:
1st of July 2026
