Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee Manufacturing process in plant on assigned shift.
- Implement management decisions according to instructions.
- Maintain shift-wise production records for both plant shifts.
- Follow technical instructions provided by R&D.
- Ensure daily compound procurement from SMT meets production requirements.
- Maintain records of finished goods, compound, employees and process control data.
- Analyse quality data to take corrective actions and meet product quality standards.
- Participate in monthly stock reconciliation and finish goods production.
- Maintain machinery for uninterrupted tire production.
- Identify training needs and coordinate programs with SOM & HR departments.
The ideal candidate will possess the following key drivers:
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years' experience in tire manufacturing in Sri Lanka or overseas.
- Should have qualification in NDT/ BSC Graduate, qualification in polymer studies.
- Should be computer literate with a good knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Internet and Email.
- Good communication skills and having the right direction for the subordinate staff is important.
- Should have very good planning and organizing skills.
- Should be a male below 40 years.
