Executive – Technical
We are seeking a proactive and technically competent Executive – Technical to support the technical operations and maintenance of our marine assets. The ideal candidate will play a key role in coordinating repairs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the smooth operation of vessels and barges.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage repair and maintenance activities for barges and marine assets.
- Handle procurement related to repairs and ensure work is completed to required standards.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities such as DGMS, TRC, and other statutory bodies to obtain approvals and certifications.
- Facilitate HSE meetings, drills, and compliance activities in line with company requirements.
- Support vessel maintenance activities in accordance with class and flag state requirements.
- Assist in ensuring the smooth and efficient technical operation of vessels.
- Collaborate with the Technical Superintendent to monitor vessel performance, maintenance schedules, and regulatory compliance.
Skills and Experience Required
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical, marine, engineering, or vessel management environment.
- Knowledge of vessel operations, maintenance processes, budgeting, and cost analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication, coordination, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience in oil tank terminal operations or vessel management will be an added advantage.
