Tropikal Life International (Pvt) Ltd is a leading exporter of Fresh Fruits & Vegetables, Organic Dried Fruits, Coconut and Coconut products such as Desiccated Coconut & Coconut Water, and other produce of Sri Lankan and other Multi origins. We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Executive – Finance to join our Finance team at our Seeduwa Factory. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting knowledge, analytical capabilities, and experience in a manufacturing environment.
SENIOR EXECUTIVE - FINANCE
Key responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Monitor and manage inventory accounting and related reconciliations.
- Coordinate and support annual financial audits, ensuring timely completion of audit requirements.
- Prepare monthly Gross Profit (GP) workings and reconciliations.
- Validate production records and ensure accurate system updates.
- Prepare and analyze monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports.
- Support management with financial analysis, costing, and overhead reporting.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or related Field.
- Part qualification in CA, CIMA, ACCA, AAT, or an equivalent professional accounting qualification.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.
- Sound knowledge of accounts payable functions and financial reconciliations.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and accounting software.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to prepare MIS reports, costing analyses, and overhead reports.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet reporting deadlines.
- Effective communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Production, Stores, Sales, and Audit.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry will be a distinct advantage.
