ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

- Are fluent in English, written and spoken.
- Are Degree qualified Electrical Engineer.
- Are experienced at working CAD, both 2D and 3D.
- Are experienced in electrical distribution boards or panel boards, desired.

Preferred Skills
- Minimum 2 years Industrial experience (REQUIRED).
- Minimum 1 year CAD Drafting experience (REQUIRED).
- Ability to grasp concepts, problem solve and run project based activities.
- Goal oriented, team player and a self-starter.
- Strong research and analytical capabilities.
- Good communication skills, written and verbal.
- Computer skills – CAD software, MS Office, ERP, email etc…
- An engineering qualification is essential (REQUIRED)
- Experience or exposure in the renewable energy sector will be an added advantage.
What does the role entail?
- Liaising with the Customer’s Product Managers or Project Managers.
- Responding and assisting with Drawing related inquiries from customers, sales teams, consultants, and other stakeholders
- Using CAD to draw layout of electrical Switchboards, distribution boards, motor control centres and various mechanical drawings
- Clearly documenting, version controlling and following standards to provide feedback and guidance
- Working to tight deadlines
