About the Role
Charles Sturt University Colombo Campus is seeking enthusiastic, customer-focused, and results-driven professionals to join our Student Recruitment and Admissions team as Student Counselors / Student Enrollment Executives. The successful candidates will play a key role in guiding prospective students through the admissions process, providing course information, supporting recruitment activities, and contributing to student enrollment targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students and parents on academic programs, admission requirements, and career pathways.
- Respond to inquiries through phone, email, social media, and face-to-face consultations.
- Guide applicants throughout the admissions and enrollment process.
- Follow up with prospective students to achieve enrollment targets.
- Participate in education exhibitions, school visits, open days, seminars, and recruitment events.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and applications using CRM systems.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, educational partners, and other stakeholders.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the student journey.
- Assist in executing student recruitment and marketing campaigns.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Marketing, Education, Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience in student recruitment, educational counseling, sales, customer service, or admissions will be an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and relationship-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems is desirable.
