RECREATION ASSISTANT
Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Recreation Assistant, Event Sales to join Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo. Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts is Sri Lanka's largest hotel owner with a portfolio of 16 Hotels and Resorts in both Sri Lanka and Maldives including the US$ 1.4 Billion investment in Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams.
Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts is a member of John Keells Holding PLC, the largest listed conglomerate in Sri Lanka.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Thorough knowledge of Membership details, Hotel information, Club facilities, tennis reservations, fare knowledge of gym exercises & recreation.
- Daily inventory to be taken of keys, 3rd party items, other items as per the list.
- Order, sell & prepare documents for payments for Third party items.
- Prepares the required general & engineering stores item list & submit the order on Monday morning.
- Check the room guest details & membership details in the system, assist for M/S renewals
- Bill posting & Day closure to be done properly & consciously.
- Inform the relevant department, person, section or supplier if there are any maintenance & follow ups.
- Check the changing rooms, shower room amenities, sauna & steam rooms.
- Check and document the Jacuzzi & chill temperature during the shift according to the directions given.
- Communicate all the official information & guest concerns/ complaints with relevant staff members,
- Supervisors & Managers.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD POSSESS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar capacity, as camp counselor, lifeguard or recreational aide will be an advantage.
- This role may require physical activity, so a good level of fitness is beneficial.
- CPR and First Aid certification is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
