Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with wholesalers, retailers, and distributors to increase Hiru Rice sales.
- Identify and develop new customer bases within the assigned territory.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets set by management.
- Conduct regular market visits to promote Hiru Rice products and gather information on competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
- Present product features, quality standards, and pricing information to potential customers.
- Ensure timely order collection, processing, and coordination with the sales and transport teams for smooth product delivery.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to management.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and support the collection process.
- Maintain accurate customer records and update market intelligence regularly.
- Build and strengthen customer loyalty through excellent service and relationship management.
Job Requirements
- Passed the G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) examination. G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) qualification will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in food products, rice sales, FMCG sales, or a similar sales role.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Target-oriented with excellent sales and customer service skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is an advantage.
- Possession of a valid driving license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of the local market and customer network will be an added advantage.
