EXECUTIVE- SEA FREIGHT IMPORTS

We are currently seeking a skilled and proactive Executive - Sea Freight Imports to join our team and play a key role in managing ocean freight operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow in a dynamic and fast-paced industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee and manage all sea freight import operations.
- Prepare and handle necessary import documentation including ASYCUDA/ASYH EDI manifesting.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant customs and import regulations.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with ocean freight carriers and yards.
- Monitor shipments to ensure they arrive on time and address any delays or discrepancies.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and external partners to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide analytical insights and operational reports to improve service and efficiency.
- Work independently with minimal supervision as part of a team.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 3 years of operational experience in ocean freight imports.
- In-depth knowledge with ASYCUDA / ASYH EDI manifesting.
- Strong understanding of ocean freight import compliance and customs regulations.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with ocean freight carriers and yards.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple tasks.
- High work profile and experience in the freight forwarding industry.
