Telesales Executive
Company: SME Bizness (Total Business Solutions)
Location: Colombo, Sri Lanka Working
Hours: 40 hours per week Shift Pattern: Scheduled between 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM UK time (Hybrid Work), offering flexibility within our core operating hours.
About the Role
Are you a results-driven and enthusiastic sales professional? We are looking for a dynamic Telesales Executive to join our growing sales team at SME Bizness. In this role, you will be the frontline of our business, responsible for generating sales leads, pitching our premium products and services over the phone, and closing deals to meet our sales targets. An ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills, a persuasive personality, and the resilience to handle rejection. You should be comfortable spending the majority of your day making outbound calls, answering inbound inquiries, and maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Outbound & Inbound Calling: Initiate contact with potential customers through cold calling or follow up on warm leads generated through our marketing campaigns.
- Product Pitching: Clearly explain the features, advantages, and benefits of our products or services to prospective clients.
- Lead Qualification: Assess customer needs and match them with the right solutions, effectively filtering out unqualified leads.
- Overcoming Objections: Handle customer objections professionally and persuasively by offering alternative solutions or clarifying misunderstandings.
- Sales Conversion: Negotiate pricing and terms, and successfully close sales deals to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets.
- CRM Management: Accurately record customer details, call logs, sales notes, and follow-up schedules in the CRM software.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build rapport with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Requirements
- Language Skills: Exceptional verbal communication and active listening skills. Absolute fluency in English is a MUST.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Telesales Executive, Telemarketer, or in a similar sales/customer service role is preferred. (Freshers with great communication skills are also encouraged to apply!)
- Education: Minimum Advanced Level (A/L) qualification, preferably from an English medium school. A recognized English language qualification (e.g., IELTS, Cambridge English, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
- Technical Skills: Comfortable navigating computers, using multi-line phone systems, and working with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) is an added advantage.
- Soft Skills: Strong negotiation and persuasion skills. Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and resilient. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
