ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Executive to join our growing team. This is a multi-functional, high-ownership role suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will be the operational backbone — managing daily processes, liaising with customers, merchants, and vendors, verifying transactions, resolving queries end-to-end, and ensuring SLAs are consistently met and take on ad-hoc tasks as business needs evolve.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers and merchants — handle inbound queries, resolve issues, and ensure a smooth experience across all touchpoints.
- Manage day-to-day operational workflows, coordinating with internal teams and external parties to maintain seamless service delivery.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with multiple vendors; monitor commitments and follow up proactively.
- Track and maintain SLAs; identify bottlenecks and take a smart, data-backed approach to continuous improvement.
- Verify and reconcile transactions daily, ensuring accuracy and flagging discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Take ownership of ad-hoc assignments — research, data collation, process documentation, and coordination — as directed by management.
- Escalate high-priority or unresolved issues to the right stakeholders without delay.
REQUIREMENTS
- Graduate in any discipline (B.Com / BBA / BA / B.Sc or equivalent)
- 0–3 years of experience in operations, customer support, or a similar role
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Google Sheets (formulas, filters, pivot tables)
- Languages : English Sinhala and Hindi
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- High attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work independently and consistently meet deadlines
GOOD TO HAVE
- Knowledge of stock markets and financial instruments
- Familiarity with trading platforms or fintech products
- Prior experience in BFSI / Fintech operations
