Associate - Global Shared Services

Location: HQ - Colombo, Sri Lanka

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the Canadian brokerage team to ensure all shipment details are accurately updated in the International Trade System in a timely manner
  • Coordinate with shipping lines, Canada Customs, and freight forwarders to ensure smooth and timely operations
  • Track shipments using shipping line and terminal tracking systems to maintain accurate visibility
  • Prepare, update, and maintain operational and performance reports
  • Perform data validation and data entry to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal standards
  • Support day-to-day operational activities to ensure service quality and efficiency
  • Willingness to work night shifts aligned with Canadian time zones on weekdays

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field
  • Successful completion of G.C.E. Advanced Level with a minimum of three passes
  • Certification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field will be an added advantage
  • Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written
  • Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills
  • Willingness to work night shifts aligned with Canadian time zones
  • Prior experience in the logistics or freight forwarding industry will be an added advantage
