BRAND MANAGER

We are seeking a commercially minded Brand Manager to join our team at Sunshine Consumer Business and take ownership of the brand plan for our tea and confectionery portfolio. The selected candidate will be responsible for driving growth across both modern and traditional trade channels through consumer-first brand strategies. This role involves managing the brand P&L, executing integrated campaigns (ATL/BTL/digital), leading agency partnerships, and translating shopper insights into measurable offtake and market share gains. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, collaborative, and experienced in FMCG brand management within Sri Lanka or similar markets.

PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field; MBA or professional marketing qualification is desirable
  • 4 to 7 years of marketing experience, with at least 2 to 3 years in FMCG brand management or trade marketing
  • Proven experience in managing integrated ATL/BTL campaigns, agency partnerships, budgets, and trade activations
  • Hands-on experience in e-commerce and digital campaigns measurement
  • Strong commercial instinct with the ability to translate volume, distribution, and margin targets into actionable marketing plans
  • Deep understanding of consumer and shopper behavior, with strong segmentation and targeting skills
  • Comfortable working across ATL, digital, social, PR, trade, and shopper activation – a true omnichannel thinker
