Information Technology Assistant

Are you ready to kick start your career in Information Technology? We invite an aspiring individual with a Higher Diploma or Diploma in Information Technology to join the Information Technology Department of Dankotuwa Porcelain PLC.
The Role
Provide first-line IT support to end users, maintain hardware, printers and business applications, generate routine reports and perform IT administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities
- End User Support: Troubleshoot desktops, laptops and peripherals, configure new computers, install software.
- Hardware & Printers: Maintain PCs, laptops, printers, scanners and barcode printers.
- ERP & System Support and Reporting: Provide first-level ERP support including price updates in MyPOS and IFS, maintain customer and operational master data.
- IT Administration: Update payment records and vendor invoices, maintain IT asset register and software inventory, track warranties and renewals.
Qualifications
- Higher Diploma or Diploma in Information Technology.
- 2 Years of experience in IT support preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Skill at troubleshooting, communication and customer service.
- Residing in close proximity to Dankotuwa is advantageous.
