MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT
Butani Group is a Capital Holding Company with several diversifying business entities under this group owning large commercial buildings that offer office space for rent.
We are looking for experienced Management Accountant for centralized finance division.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Should have thorough knowledge of liaising with Banks to obtain project loans.
- Knowledge of BOI procedures, construction accounting and must be able to manage projects, take decisions and have financial planning knowledge.
- Must understand Business strategy and decision making to ensure growth and profitability.
- Full responsibility of the payment process including fund management for local companies.
- Ensure adequate funds maintained in the bank account for payments.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and other financial reports.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Degree in Accounting/ Business Management or fully qualified in ICASL or CIMA with minimum of 10 years’ experience in senior executive capacity
- Strong excel skills together with data analysis software (familiar with placing and extracting documents in box)
- Excellent knowledge of banking transactions & related matters, accounting & financial principles with knowledge of QuickBooks.
- Excellent Communication in English both written and oral.
- Highly organized, structured and deadline oriented.
- Excellent time and self-management skill, ability to prioritize and multi-task to meet deadlines required and be comfortable with large data volume.
- Preferably a candidate below 45 yrs., who resides in Colombo or its Vicinity.
